A short train ride took us straight into the heart of the city where we started our tour with the Anne Frank House. We saw firsthand how one family struggled during WWII.
Riccardo then shared with us the history behind the leaning homes and tolerant culture of the Dutch.
Next we visited the Rijks Museum with a local guide who taught us about the masterpieces there.
We wrapped up our time with a canal cruise where we learned the history of the waterways.
