Bacharach
We left the Netherlands and traveled South to Bacharach, Germany. It is a quaint village located in the valley of Lorelei Rock along the Rhine River.
Our hotel, Kranenturm, was built directly on the town wall and boasts its own medieval charm with its tall tower and colorful decor. Each room had a spectacular view of either the village, the castle, vineyards or the Rhine River.
It was here the girls learned the valuable lesson of not leaving the light on at night and their windows open; a six legged invasion.
