Rothenburg
From Bacharach we journeyed on to Rothenburg. Rothenburg is one of Germany's most preserved medieval towns. Many parts of the city reminded me of a real life Christmas village.
We had a fun free day to explore, shop and try the traditional German fare. Greg also joined the group that evening for the Night Watchman's tour.
He enjoyed learning the history behind the walled city and the men who watched over it.
