Dachau

After leaving Rothenburg, we trekked to Dachau.

Dachau was the first Nazi concentration camp and towards the end of the war was also a death camp. We toured the yard, bunkhouses, crematorium and gas chamber.  

This was a very sombering stop on the tour. It made the horror of the holocaust real and gave us an appreciation for what war time was like and the depravity man can show to his fellow man.
